A big part of health and safety in schools is air quality.
Between 2020 and 2023, a total of 40 ventilation projects have been completed to upgrade the air quality in DDSB schools and buildings. This school year, an additional 3 ventilation projects are planned or already in progress.

Good morning, Bellwood Community, the home of the Bobcats where we Belong, Believe and Succeed!
It has been another great week at Bellwood P.S.  Our junior and intermediate cricket teams played in their tournament this week and enjoyed themselves representing our school.  Our junior volleyball teams have also been doing well in their games and tournaments and we look forward to seeing how they do as the season continues.

Following its annual Organizational Board Meeting, the Durham District School Board has announced that Whitby Trustee Christine Thatcher has been elected Chair of the Board for 2023-24.
Dedicated to student success and well-being, Thatcher was first elected in 2018 and is committed to public education. Thatcher was re-elected to a new four-year term in 2022.
